It's the Tea Party. Their nutty candidates have essentially ensured Democratic control of the Senate, in 2010 and most likely again in 2012.
And with Biden as VP, Dems will have control even if they only win 50 Senate seats, though they'll likely have 51.
Unfortunately, with a GOP House, Dem Senate and Dem White House, we're in for more of the same - gridlock.
