iPhoto users - one main library or multiple libraries?
#1
for iphoto users:
do you keep all your photos in a single library or in multiple libraries or other?
curious to hear what others might do and that might be a possible new way of organizing my photos.

for non-iphoto users:
what do you do to organize your photos?

generally i have family photos (tons!), and then construction and home maintenance photos and other misc photos which dont fit those categories.

Multiple libraries can be useful because it's pretty easy to switch between them.

But I don't use multiple libraries because, inexplicably, Apple TV won't recognize more than one.

One library, with about 12 sub-folders.
That makes it lots easier to find filed photos.

I have about 5 iPhoto Libraries: Family, trip west, cars, wallpaper, and at least one other. I set up a new Library for events that have a large number of pictures. I will be setting up another for Hockey, as 3 of our grandkids are players. There will be albums for each kid.

Multiple Libraries makes it much easier to find a particular picture, and less sidebar scrolling for an album in a given Library. I have 10k photos, and I need this flexibility.

One library. The whole thing is set up to sort and tag and organize photos, etc WITHIN the library. Having multiple libraries would, um, multiply the difficulty in finding anything imho.
