Keeping cool

What with all the talks about a blistering summer with high humidity everywhere, how do y'all all keep cool without AC or CA? Yeah, yeah, I know but cold beers can only do so much :[

It was 94 here in Atlanta today with some humidity. I was miserable. Our air quality was Code Red.

The downstairs of my condo stays moderately comfortable at 77 degrees, but the upstairs is 10 degrees warmer.

I noticed that some of my neighbors on the top floor flat condos had all the windows open and no ac - I don't know how they stand it. When I don't run the AC it seems everthing has a mildew smell.

If you put a frozen bottle of water up against your neck where the jugular is you can cool down quicker. An Airforce guy told me that last year while they were doing desert combat training. I tried it after taking pics of the exercise, seems to work. Once it melts it is still cool to drink.

I go out the front door, turn left, cross the street, cross the sand and jump into the Pacific Ocean!!!

Jump in da pool. Doesnt always work though. Especially when its humid and very hot out.
