I think you need to switch to a different browser. Camino development was halted more than a year ago, as the underlying program framework was deemed obsolete.

I'd forgotten about Camino until I read your post. If you need an alternative to Safari, look no further than Firefox. In fact, I find Firefox has fewer compatibility issues with common web sites - including Apple's own site! - than Safari! Want to make an appointment for service at an Apple store? I couldn't do it in Safari. Had to switch to Firefox. Same goes for managing my Verizon account. Safari doesn't cut it. Firefox gets the job done. Robert

Firefox is dog slow for me... Camino may be old, but is still functional on most websites. I may end up switching to Safari though...

Try iCab. It seems not to be a memory hog.
