OT: Mr. Roger's neighborhood lives on with new show for kids
#1

Here is the preview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9HcCxjGfC4

I just noticed these on Amazon but you can view full episodes on the PBS Kids website. It has similar lessons taught in cartoon form by the puppet characters in the Land of Make Believe. Pretty fun, informative, uplifting show for kids IMO.

This is the kind of thing that seriously amuses me. I saw a portion of that show just yesterday while visiting my sister who has DirectTV. And now here it is on the forum. Is it Baader-Meinhof when it involves TV shows? (Tongue)

My kids have been watching it since it started several months back and they quite enjoy it. The little whiny brat Caillou still wins out on my TV but sometimes if I'm sick of hearing him whine I talk them in to something else. After you have a couple kids you don't really need cable because you end up just watching PBS kids whenever the tv is on anyway (We tivo all their favorite PBS shows).

Yes, it's all cartoon though. This is basically the children of the puppets in the original show.
