Thrift Store find
#1
I went to my local Thrift Store yesterday just as they were opening. On the shelf was a Bose PM-1 CD player. This thing is brand new in the box. It came with the paper work and batteries, that worked. It sounds great even with my cheap head phones, I need to get a better set. I was looking for a new CD player because my old one takes the hard to find gum stick batteries, so this is a terrific find for me. The cost was $4.98 and with my Military discount it came to $3.75 plus tax.

Wurm- It's OK... it's a replacement. One assumes the replaced CD player has found its way into the recycling bin. Rule of Dejunking.. no new stuff comes in unless something goes out. This applies to everything... well, except humans and kittens. And possibly wuppies, althought there are limits to the size of the Petting Zoo.

Bose used to give those away with sets of noise-canceling headphones. I found a never-used one in its box when we moved last month.

Hey, I'm pretty sure I took it to Goodwill--maybe it's yours now...

No mention of mp3's in the owners guide, so no.

OK, it says audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs.
