New ip 5s--unlimited data

Don't know how this happened, but I brought in to VZ my new gold ip5s and had them activate it and transfer my ip5 to my wife's account. They bought wife's old ip4 with a broken on/off button for $100, continued my unlimited data and even gave me the usual 20% (employer) off a new case for the 5 that my wife picked out for herself.

Didn't ask too many questions, but I'm flabbergasted.

The way this is supposed to work is your wife upgraded to a 5s - trading in her ip4, then they swapped your 5 and 'her' 5s.

Actually no because we swapped about a year ago when I got her upgrade to a 5. We just did the same thing again and that may be why I was able to keep unlimited

My brother does that all the time. My mom is on his account and she NEVER wants a new phone. So he gets an upgrade every year instead of every two years. One year he uses her upgrade then the next he uses his...and so on.

As long as I don't change my plan on my iPhone, the unlimited stays (AT&T) even as I have moved in-and-out numerous iPhones against that plan. I have discount too.
