But I was going to get that, as my experience with the discontinued M4 line (my boot drive is a 256G M4) has been very good, and this drive is supposed to be a better performer. $309 is a decent deal, and tax free from B&H, for a log of people.
Then the Toshiba 512G/$285 deal distracted me. It gets here in two more days.

And then there's this:

Is that a refurb?
It only has a 90-day warranty from what I can tell.

Coworker has one. They're decent. That's a good price, although not the best seen for that size... But it beats CDW-G by a good margin.
What's B&H again? Black wrote: Dude, are you getting a kickback from our good sponsor or something? Do you have one? I'd love to see an actual real-world comparison of performance as artificial as that may be. I'd be willing to put this and several others through their paces and review them here if someone offered them to me.

I've linked to it more than once because it's one of the best deals out there at the moment on an SSD in this size range. First page of search hits reveals that it's the OEM version of the Crucial M4. Thousands of reviews. Edit: When I searched previously I somehow came away with the impression that OWC had a 3 year warranty on this. Would never drop $300 on anything of this nature with only 90 days.
