National Weather Service-National Mosaic Radar..Excellent & Link
#1
I use the National Weather Service-National Mosaic (of NWS doppler sites) to see what's coming and what's already here.

let it load--it moves..you can scroll around but it's a bit jumpy

If you then click on a local area, it'll bring the Doppler for that area.

Watching big storms like the one last night..or, Hurricane Sandy..pretty amazing to see the scale of some of these things in a national context- with some motion

It's an excellent overview of the country and, if you're interested in weather etc..it can teach quite a bit about how these things happen..

Can be useful but I won't guarantee anything..you might just end up back at TMZ. >Like you always do!!

That used to be my goto site but I lost it during one of my browser upgrades somehow. It's back in my bookmarks bar again. Thanks

It works on my Wife's pad..albeit it might be 1, maybe 2 generations back?

Might be that my connection is slow enough to time out.
