Watch stops dead-- battery, or cheap POC?

I think you need a third option: It's a cheap POC and the battery gave up.

I knew it wasn't a high quality piece of precision engineering when I bought it.... I actually had 3 Kenneth Cole watches before it that were significantly cheaper-- the first one came with a cologne gift set and I liked it so much I bought the others off eBay from someone who had broken up the set. They're all still hanging here with dead batteries. and fortunately take the same batteries....
I happened into a CVS that had an impressive collection of little button batteries tonight but not this one. Walgreens doesn't list it on their site at all.

Get some cheap batteries off of ebay. I've had two watches since 1992- a $1 one and a $3 one.

Yes, I ordered some before I started this thread.
I found one at my local Ace. Watch is back up and running.
