How to modify column chart in MS Excel so y-axis has one-inch increments?
#1
Trying to create an Excel spreadsheet that early childhood educators can use with kids to teach counting. The idea is to list a few categories with a few values and print out a chart with columns showing the results. Different sheets could be printed and given to the children.

The children have a bunch of one-inch foam cubes. I'd like the columns to be scaled so that one unit equals and prints as one inch. The kids could then place the appropriate number of cubes on sheets of paper to fill in the columns.

Any thoughts on how to change the scale? It would also be nice to make the columns one-inch wide, as well. Below is what I have so far.

just drag and make it bigger.

the vertical axis should start with 0 not with 1 if you want to teach the kids how to count

A lot of trial and error in how your printer driver scales stuff. Header, footer, add/remove x and y axis labels, etc. I first messed with scaling graphs in Excel 3 and M$ has broken it, fixed it, broken it, fixed it, what seems like dozens of times.
