my vinyl-collecting compatriots are saying that these sound AMAZING.

my only mono Beatles LPs are old and worn.

I did find another copy of Introducing... The Beatles on Vee Jay, mono, that isn't a pirate/bootleg. Top right in photo:

^ These 4 cost me all of $2.

Introducing... was highly bootlegged; its story is very interesting, if you're a Beatles fan.

I used this site to identify mine and learn about its release.

Been reading good things about them as well. These are supposedly the finest-sounding Beatles LPs (and by default, if not actual listening the best sounding Beatles recordings ...) of any save for original Parlophones. But it would be interesting to hear these compared to the '82 "Mono Collection" set.

After the missteps of the 2012 stereo LP remasters, it's good to see EMI made things right with the monos, which are the "mix of record" for the artists.

*************
boxed sets:
The Beatles Collection (1978) aka "the blue box" and still well regarded today for sound quality

The Beatles Box (1980) - "foreign market" mail order stuff few have heard?

The Beatles: The Collection (1982) - MFSL's, and the best-known of the older sets. Praised when new, derided today (waaaay too much bass and treble boost + other problems) But if you have speakers with muffled tweeters and small woofers [or you are mostly deaf] these should sound best.

The Beatles Mono Collection (1982) - aka "the black box" and the only other mono LPs worth considering, if you can find one ...

The Beatles Boxed Set (1988) - the orig. CDs. Just ... don't.

The Beatles Stereo Boxed Set (2009) - the remasters most people today know, released on CD and downloads. The USB stick shaped like an Apple version had 24/44.1 files however.

The Beatles in Mono (2009) - remastered mono CD set

The Beatles Stereo Boxed Set (2012) - LPs that used the 2009 24/44.1 digital masters but advertised as "from original analog tapes" Excuses from EMI abounded. And yes they sound like the USB stick: very good, until you hear an original Parlophone LP.

The Beatles in Mono (2014) - These LPs use the original master tapes (Please Please Me excepted as noted above, but the new master is analog, not digital).
