I assume you can upgrade to the 6 Plus by paying the difference, but I don't think it mentions that, specifically.

But do you have to eligible for for an upgrade? Our son is past his upgrade date, my wife and I aren't up
for upgrades until late Nov. '14.

I think you have to be eligible for an upgrade or you would have to pay off the ETF that you would still owe, I guess.
