I'll get an iphone 6 - even the small one looks like a monumental upgrade from my 4S. I like much of what I saw in the iwatch, but no way in hell will I jump into this pool blindly. I want to know how warm it'll get. The iphone certainly warms up under stress.

Hal, the 6 is going to be a fantastic upgrade from the 4S. That's the way you do it!

Maaaaybe the 6s, when it comes out.
I'm not eligible for an upgrade for some time, and I'm not so crazy (yet) for the larger form factor.
Definitely the AWatch.
Let's see what next month holds.

Hmmmm. Nothing? I still don't understand why I would pay $350 for an iWatch that requires an iPhone to use. If you don't have an iPhone does it do anything? Time? Basic health/fitness features? I really wish these devices were some what stand alone or were much cheaper given they require another rather expensive companion. Since I'm not in the market for a phone either, there isn't much for me. Hope the Apple TV or iPad get nice refreshes to tempt me.
However, this launch may have instead prompted me to finally pick up a Pebble. $130 seems reasonable for a companion device, it is actually available today, and the battery life is good for days.

My 4s is getting long in the tooth. Will move to either a 6 or a 5s, depending on how large (read: unwieldy) the iPhone 6 is.
