Melting Has Resumed. . .

In the 40s this afternoon, and finally predicted to be above freezing the next couple of nights:



The slow melting is actually good for avoiding floods. Though it's raining tonight, and some rain predicted the next few days—fortunately, not too much, so far.

Our snow is gone but after some day some days in the 50s, we'll get a couple of nights in the teens! Spring in Michigan...

If you had that in California you would be out there vigerously shoveling it into your swimming pool so you would have drinking water at least for a little while.

In about 4 months, anybody in Cali with a green lawn is going to get stink eye from all their neighbors.
