Yay! DSL finally fixed.

Our DSL went down early Thursday morning and just got fixed a couple hours ago. Down for most of the town for anybody with Windstream. They thought they had it fixed Friday only to fail minutes later, same thing Saturday afternoon. Going without the internet was no problem the first couple days, later on it became more of a hassle as I had work I need to do, couldn't pay bills or check accounts. Not undoable, just a pain. I don't want to go back to a time without out it, way to convenient.

Have a client who had "issues" w/ his Verizon DSL starting Wednesday, so ended up spending way too much time on Thursday trying to troubleshoot something that couldn't readily be fixed... which included about two hours talking to Verizon tech support in India. Would've preferred if they just said, "hey sorry, the system is down, try again in a couple of days, which if you're smart, you'll use to find a better provider..."
