I've had this problem from time to time, but it's been a number of months. Today it happened again. MBPr late 2013 running latest Yosemite.
When scrolling down in Safari using the down arrow, it will stick "on." It scrolls to the bottom of the page, and keeps trying. It won't accept further input from the keyboard or trackpad. The power button will bring up the shutdown choice dialog, but I can't click anything or use the enter key. At that point, I just hold down the power key to force a reboot. Sometimes letting it sleep for a bit will cure it, if I feel like waiting.
This laptop is about a year and a half old, and this has been happening for at least 6 months, so I don't think it's wear or gunk in the keyboard, but who knows.
Any thoughts? Is there an accessibility feature that I am inadvertently activating? It's not consistently reproducible that I can tell, probably won't get sympathy at the Apple Store yet.
