G- Amen. I've said the same thing here, secondhand from my Uncle who has worked in commercial NYC real estate for over 40 years. His basic rule ?

Never Ever Ever do business with a Trump or any of his hangers on.

Steve, I honestly think most people knew Trump was an ass decades ago. If for no other reason than his taste was so pathetically nouveau-riche and he spoke like an uneducated boor.

Being nouveau-riche or a boor is common enough in New York real estate. Trump has managed to offend all of New York for the past three decades. He is a colossal jerk, and NYC certainly has lots of those, but few of the magnitude of Trump,
