I brought my Epson 2200 back to life!!!!!!!!
#1
I thought it was dead. I was CERTAIN it was dead. I was even calling repair places.

All the heads were clogged. A nozzle check printed nothing.

NOTHING!

Regular windex does a good job deluting the ink. I ran the head over paper towel wetted with windex. i applied windex in a number of other ineffective manners.

What worked - wetting the waste ink sponge with windex and letting the head sit on it for a day.

Just like that, I was back in business.

....and epson nearly had me for a $300 repair bill.

Windex Leader!

Seriously though, good job. I have a 740 that is forever clogged. I'll remember the Windex for next time.
