Just put a 250GB hard drive in my eMac. Seeing 128GB. Huh?

[quote threeprong]Crapola.

I guess i have an early eMac with only 128GB support.

So, I'm buying INtech's drivers and doing two 127GB partitions.

Space is space I guess.

Let me know if you actually can buy the software for $15. I have a B&W G4 that I would like large drive support in. Not worth the money for a card, but under $20 for software, I would do.

I bought the software and installed the driver.

I then ran the app that is supposed to regain the extra space on an already formatted drive. It wouldn't let me select the drive as it was "not larger than 128GB".

It's a 250GB that was formatted at 128GB due to the limit.

So I've gotten nowhere.

I'll eventually tear this eMac, back down get my 250GB back out and put in a 120GB and call it a week.
