iPhone battery replaced for $59.00
#1
I got $10.00 off the 69.00 price for making the appt online. I was pleased with the in store replacement while I waited and price. One year warranty from a local business I trust. Wouldn't it have been more at the Apple store? (just an Apple sanctioned store in Tyler)

Apple says it will reduce the cost of iPhone battery replacements for anyone with an iPhone 6 or later from $79 to $29. The price drop is temporary and will begin in late January and run through the end of 2018. More details will be available soon, the company says.

The above from 9to5Mac on 12/28/17.

Since my Apple store has to send to Apple many things I didn’t want to risk that at any price.

So the price of paranoia is $30.

Since she said 'at any price' $30 sound dirt cheap.

Probably quicker too.

Since my Apple store has to send to Apple many things I didn’t want to risk that at any price. Some places. El Paseo Palm Desert Apple Store has no appointments available. They get snagged up quickly. I’ve had to go in twice and both time they were walk ins as soon as I could, only to come back hours later. So $59 vs 29. Yeah it’s worth it if it was available to me. Luckily the guy who looked over my wife’s phone said the button was bad and he would replace the phone under AppleCare for $99. It had a few days left of AppleCare and a discoloration in part of screen. So she got a new phone for $99 with AppleCare.
