The farmers say that also. Several yrs ago an agriculture group (govt) went all over the world stirring up business. It worked but now that other countries are getting products from other countries they are not likely to go back. The farmers use the terms with trade “dependable” and “non dependable” used in ranking who buys from us. We are now ranked as undepenable” ;-(

FWIW... This will produce MORE 'family farmer' deaths and destruction, and a bonanza for....

Big Ag Business.

Who will suck up all the acreage at fire sale prices.

Hmm... who do they donate to ?

Yeah.. it's a cash grab.

About ten years ago I worked on a deal exporting meat from US and Canada to China, it was an extremely labor and time intensive process to cut through necessary levels of both exporting and importing levels of bureaucracy. Chinese food safety regulations and their attendant bureaucracy alone required two years of work. We also got an understanding that after any negative rulings, we are not going to see any official willing to stick his neck out for a new affirmative decision.....

Good to see that the radical right continues their march to liberty for all… (as long as you're worthy, anyway).
