Those coiled rolls are about the cheapest and least durable edging you can buy.
There are many other choices that are much better, but do cost more.
Do you have a HD nearby? At the HD I work at, in the garden dept., we carry metal, heavier rigid plastic, wood, heavy rubber, concrete, and several others. We sell those rolled goods, but I would never use them, personally, especially if you will be mowing near it.

Took me an afternoon to install two coils worth of that exact product around the perimeter of my back yard. Did it myself with no help. This is not the type of edging you simply hammer into the ground. You have to dig a 5-inch deep trench. Place the edger into place and then push the dirt back in and stomp on it. It has this "foot" on the bottom edge like an upside down "T". That kinda locks it into the dirt.

This helps with the trench digging. The blade is the perfect depth.
