Yeah, great place to recharge the batteries. I'd enjoy another trip. Found a little glacial lake on the last visit. So clear that you could see down to the bottom even though it must have been 30 feet or more from the rocky ledge where we stood.

I'm glad it's still gorgeously unspoiled. I spent a lot of time in Maine in summer camp as a tweenager. Swam in the ocean.. holy shrinkage was it cold !

Vacationed there last summer. It is a special place. Its pretty crowded in season, though. We were disappointed when we tried to drive up for the sunset on Cadillac Mountain, and the mountain was "full."
