Just borrow one from a friend/coworker.
There's always that guy.
I used to be
that guy, and happen to have a couple of pretty complete networking toolkits. Just pay shipping both ways, and you can borrow one for as long as is reasonably needed. Punchdown tool, tone generator, tone finder, butt set, continuity tester, voltmeter, every little hand tool imaginable, etc.. Started collecting in the mid 70's, so some stuff is pretty old, but the wiring principles are still the same.... gotta love physics. May not be worth it if you just need a punchdown tool, but if you're gonna do some serious network wiring it's pretty much everything/anything you'd need.

Hah. Awesome. (tu) A few months ago I needed to run and terminate some Cat5 cable. Kits cost about $20 on Amz. Cheapo tester is $10-ish. I just asked
that guy at the office and borrowed. He even showed me how to do it with a piece of scrap. Finished it over the weekend and returned the kit to him on Monday. Thanks buddy!
