The 1st movie "The Librarian: Quest for the Spear" aired in 2004, quite some time ago. . .starring Noah Wylie. . .

Yeah, it's a bit of an Indiana Jones copycat (but Indiana Jones was a copy of the serials. . .so. ..) and it is a "made for TV movie" (TV cable movie), so don't expect that much. . .

Brainy adventurer Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle) joins forces with a spunky archaeologist (Gabrielle Anwar) for a sweeping, globe-trotting quest to uncover the ancient treasures of the fabled mines of King Solomon. A sequel to 2004's “The Librarian: Quest for the Spear,” the film was directed by Jonathan Frakes, produced by Wyle and coexecutive produced by Dean Devlin.

Cool. I actually checked out the first one from the local library, and the wife and I enjoyed it. It wasn't high art, but it was enjoyable. I liked Bob's character.

Funny. I saw the other at Hollywood Video 3 nights ago. I had never heard of it, looked at the box, laughed and put it back. Then heard the commercial for this one.
