Cloned boot drive; this will work, right?
#1
Made a (CCC) clone of my Sierra 'everyday' boot SSD in my cMP hex core.
The plan is to use it in a Dual 6-core after it's tested (new Xeons & RAM).
If everything checks out, I'll update it to 10.13 (or 10.14?), install SATA-III & USB-3
cards, etc.
Am I overlooking anything?

Confusedmiley-signs001: in advance.

cMP to cMP? You'll be fine.

That sounds great, I use cloned OSes all the time. Usually to make a quick boot USB flash drive from a recent clean install on a laptop or similar.

No problem with Sierra.

Just remember that to get the firmware for High Sierra/APFS support you'll need to run the HS installer from the boot vol on the Mac.

For Mojave... Got a supported graphics card?
