PS3 just started locking up / freezing when I sometimes fast forward or rewind with remote in YouTube

Just started a few days ago. I have to restart the machine to get out of it. Anyone have this happen to them? Not getting much from Google. Doesn’t seem like an overheating issue (checked temperature and made sure vents were clean).

I have not updated my PS3 in about four years (a little afraid to at this point). If Youtube is a separate app, delete and reinstall it. I am not sure what to say if it is Youtube in the default WWW browser.

I keep it updated. May try the delete and reinstall thing though, thx.
