Yippee! One down, one more to go

Got my first dose of Moderna vaccine this AM. Will get 2nd dose on 3/13.
In and out in 20 minutes w/ next shot confirmed!
However, the whole appointment thing was a little weird.
Out of the blue yesterday AM got an email from my Dr. saying I had an
appointment for vaccination if I wanted it & a link to accept.
Accepted and instantly replied to another link to confirm a 9AM appointment.
Done, no calling or registering on govt. sites, & no waiting in lines.

In my case, and I bet it applies everywhere, Walmart had some extra shots and started calling doctors to ask if they had patients in need of a shot. They called my niece, a Nurse Practitioner who is not giving shots, and she said her 90-year-old grandmother could use one. So I, at 70, got in on the deal.

That’s tough. I’ve seen your posts about your health but it’s rough when you look like a 90 y.o. grandmother at 70. I could probably pass for a 90 y.o. grandmother (I’m 70) with my man-bòóbs but my beard is going to make them question things.
