Our "pals" at Comcast have done it again. They've raised their prices. Not by much, but it still stinks that I can't tell them to stick it because I have no other options for high speed internet. I couldn't care less about the TV, but the rest of the family may have a problem if I just canceled that.
Anyway, I'm thinking I can save almost $20/mo. by dropping down from my current (on paper) 6MB internet plan to their 384Kb plan. My question is, in day to day internet use, will I really notice that kind of drop? I don't do much downloading other than what naturally occurs on sites. I know I couldn't really ever go back to dialup, but I'm wondering if I'd regret a downgrade like that.
Any thoughts?
(BTW, the $18+/mo. isn't the difference between eating and not eating, but every little bit helps. Plus, I'd just like to give Comcast a bit less each month.)
