Torrent problem
#1
Anyone know what to do when a completed torrent file is still divided into a bunch of .rar files? Can they be manually joined somehow?
It's the 4th episode of 12 I downloaded, kind of a bummer . . .
Thanks.

Stuffit or UnRarX do it for me.

Just open the 1st .rar w/ Stuffit Expander. Works for me.

Stuffit was giving an error but I d/l'd a newer version that's not choking, howvere it's sort of staled at the end of the progress bar and now estimating 2000 hours to completion (and rising).
It just occurred to be the split file is on a server-- if I'm joining it remotely where does the joined file end up?

most programs like that will expand it in the original directory that the parts are in, unless you have set a different default (or were asked at the beginning where you want it to end up)

Huh? No, the file is on my desktop and I can only play it on my iBook.
Anyways, I grabbed stuffit 10.x on my desktop and got a whole file there, so I'm good.
