idiot local gummint paperwork
#1
NYS, the county and the town just can't seem to come into the 21st century with fillable on-line pdf docs and send wads of paper that will probably be scanned in anyway.

there should be no reason in this day to have to fill in a paperwork for gummint, health care and etc docs that aren't on-line.

grrrrrr!!!!

I'm with you, but I'm currently trying to fill out a detailed PDF, and it's a bag of hurt. Compared to many such fillable documents, it actually seems pretty well designed. But a bunch of little bugs are slowly killing me. :banghead:

There's something satisfying about an old-school paper form and ballpoint pen (forms with reasonable length and efficient design, of course.) Computer forms are so cold.

You can likely blame the clerical staff for that. They like their processes, paper, and manual work and will murder anyone who even thinks about or suggests changing their workflow.
