Its been clear for a number of days that he's essentially thumbing his nose at the world and doesn't care about the consequences. At this point we're hoping he becomes mired in his own incompetence - and there's a chance that will happen - otherwise we're likely looking at WWIII, Russia vs. the world. Or maybe just Europe.

Nuclear waste sites and fuel storage have also been attacked in other areas of the country.
Makes me wonder if Putin plans to withdraw in the name of peace while leaving a radioactive wasteland behind.

I think that's the plan if things don't start falling their way. They will then "negotiate" an exit, and conjure up some b.s. in the future to invade once again.

Ukrainian officials say situation at nuclear power plant is secure
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine said Friday that following an attack by Russian forces on Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, the facility is currently secure.

The director of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant said in a statement posted Friday on Facebook that at the moment the plant is secure.
