I am so not ready for a rematch of 2016.

Same.

If the GOP wants to prevent a repeat of their 2016 clown car primary, they'd better get behind somebody else strongly and early. Otherwise with a big field he can get 30% again and win the nomination.

At least this time the media will not fawn all over him, they are taking the threat as real.

How about "White supremacist Florida Man facing multiple criminal and civil investigations who cost his party wins in 2018, 2020, and 2022 and who led a violent attempt to overthrow a democratic election after showing disastrous leadership during a global pandemic announces run for President."

Why is he running for President, if he's already the President (as he has claimed)? That would be a third term.

Because he is trying to beat FDR's record. He'll go for a fourth term. A fifth term... oh wait, why stop there? Why not just elect him President for Life?

Edit: I'm just now catching up on all of this ... VERY glad that I did not watch Baron Trümpkonnen and that you all took the hit for me on this one.

Ivanka put out a message saying:

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” Ivanka Trump said. Her statement came the same evening that the former president announced his plans to run for president again.

She's staying out of politics, but Jared showing up is interesting...
