Great Commercial for Razor with Jimi Hendrix.

Just a little advertising but alot of "Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire" with great fire video. Then showing the Razor play the video and music. Earlier tonight they played IMHO an awful iPod ad showing some sort of video with silhouettes of some crazy kid jumping around like he is on crack in some awful colored background with some awful music.

Yes but kids will like that iPod ad and Steve will sell more iPods.

OLD folks love Hendrix, young kids don't know him.
Young kids have tons of disposable cash and have several iPods.
Love both ads, great music in both.
Sad that you assume someone is on crack because you don't understand it.

I have never liked Apple's advertising since the girl with the hammer. That was one of the best ads ever. The ads with "Jobs and Gates" are flat out silly. Also I did not know that was supposed to be them until Gates lashed out. Insulting your competitor is not very professional. They have such superior products the ads should be informational. The new shuffle is one of the neatest things I have seen. Promoting this with lots of pix is what I would endorse IMHO. Real people doing endorsments would be nice also.

I also think kids know about what they call "classics" like Led Zepplin and Hendrix.

As for being on crack that was meant to be funny not an accusation.

Apple had several informational ads, they were a dismal failure, heck, you don't even remember them!
They used to run on late weeknights, and on the weekends. Several 15 minute spots, and I distinctly remember three different 30 minute spots.

There was music before Hendrix and Zeppelin.
Do you remember it?

I worship at Graceland as much as I can. I think Elvis kicked Rock and Roll into universal popularity. Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Smokey Robinson were not too shabby also.

I'm always amazed that the smallest mom and pop shops, or crappiest little "Seen on TV" item can advertise the HELL out of the TV, running ads all day long, but Apple can't seem to fit hardly any in except for these little spurts of ad blitzes.

I think he has the biggest head I have ever seen. Just look at the size of that mellon on his shoulders next to the woman. Makes Peter Criss's head look like a pimple.

Criticizing Little Richard is anathema. He looks good and still has that amazing voice. Good for him.
