Password Problem
#1
I had to reset my password on another Mac (iMac 5K 27" Late 2105 Sierra/10.12.6) via my Apple ID.

After resetting the password, there're three choices on handling the Keychain.

One was Create New Keychain, another was highlighted blue, something about create new password and open Keychain with password, and the third was using keychain with the old password.

I clicked on the blue button and now realize Keychain didn't get assigned my new login password.

That seems to be what's called for, as it wouldn't take my Apple ID password.

The problem now is I'm getting a popup window wanting the keychain password so sharingd, com.apple.iCloudhelper,cdpd, and a cast of thousands can use the "Local Items" keychain.

It won't take my new login or Apple ID (which is probably not the password it wants, anyway.

I'm assuming it wants the old login password that I forgot and is the reason I had to reset.

It won't go away!

So at this point, I think I need to create a new keychain for the login, but I have no idea how.

What's a po' boy to do?

I Force-Q System Prefs and restarted.

The window I needed came up, so I selected Create new keychain and BOOM! login in continued.

Logged in to iCloud via System Prefs and it's sorted.
