How long until the first indictment?
#1
Trump’s cast of characters is mostly lined up. How long do you expect until the first indictment after Jan. 20? Resignation of the crook doesn’t count. Can be Senate confirmed or not. I realize an indictment will be a hurdle with Bondi in charge of the DOJ.

You really should have a 2028 choice. Anyone Trump puts in as AG will refuse to indict anyone in his administration.

Are you talking about indictments of Democrats?

THIS. It’s been a clear campaign promise. Also a clear step in the fascist playbook.

Speedy, what are you talking about?

The reason Bondi is there is to keep ANYTHING from reaching him. Like others, I just assumed that you are asking how soon until Biden is indicted. Or Pelosi or Smith or Liz Cheney.

I feel that our only chance of not descending to an insane post apocalyptic mess is that without constraints, Trump will quickly throw the country into a tailspin that is so obvious, there is no way that anyone will believe it's the dems fault.

There are federal attorneys who, although beholding to Trump for their jobs, will indict obvious criminals. They did so during his first term and I expect them to do so this term. Bush the Lesser tried to get his federal attorneys to go after voter fraud even though there was none and a half dozen or so whom he fired testified before Congress to that effect.

Trump has a hand at all levers of the gov't. Any gov lawyer that threatens trump or anything he values will be gone FAST. They won't be testifying in THIS congress.

I don't think it's going to be the cake-walk he thinks it will be. But he's getting his nasty trumpstains all over everything. Touching our White House. Eating our food.
