BTW, Trump declared victory, saying that Mexico’s president agreed to “close the border” just because of his manly threat, so it appears that the tariffs are off-again.

The President of Mexico disagreed, saying she simply agreed to continue policies instituted in consultation with the Biden administration, which has resulted in a 75% drop in border crossings since last December. And assuring Trump that Mexico would retaliate to any US tariffs by instituting their own against US goods.

Trumpies probably didn’t hear, or listen to all that tho, because they didn’t hear it from their preferred sources of BS news.

Also, Mexico’s president apparently informed Trump that fentanyl was bad, and so Trump sprang into action:

I heard this on my News/Traffic/Weather radio station, KCBS, and was surprised.

They haven't been great reporting fact checking, though some of the people they've done phone interviews have.
