his roles in Bonny & Clyde and Unforgiven are my favs I think - 25 years apart
might be my alltime fav actor - his list of films might be the best of all the greats. He was in a few forgettable losers, but not many have so many great roles that no one can choose a single one to represent his career.

I have a theory...
He found his wife dead, he went to the mud room to put his shoes on to go somewhere to deal with it. There he fell which lead to a fatal injury. One of the dogs was ill and required meds that he could no longer get and he died while the others lived.
it's a strange one

If I understood an article, the dog, a German shepherd, was found in a bathroom closet.
Definitely odd.

very odd and very sad. These news articles always say a bottle of prescription pills, but they rarely say what kind of pills. Was this pain relief medication (oxycodone) or something else less toxic?

Something I read said she was mummified, and then later it said they must have been dead for at least a couple days. Didn’t make sense, so it will be interesting. It also said there were live dogs even though one was dead. Probably just a super sloppy take to be early to the “party”.

Hi everyone,
I heard the dog that died was actually in a crate. The others were able to enter/exit the house via a doggy door. Assuming they died X amount of time ago, it means the dog was trapped in its crate. I hate to say, I wouldn't be surprised if the dog died of dehydration in its crate if Gene and his wife passed away more than a few days before they were found. RIP to all of them.
