Yeah, somehow and barely staying in business in spite of the damage various CEOs and other upper management have done to the brand. I do know I buy a lot less from them than I did a decade or two ago.

It's the Rewards. They tried to get rid of coupons for a minute by hiring the guy that set up Apple Stores. Customers were like "GTFOH." They couldn't fire him fast enough. Buh Buy.

Yeah, but he and other upper management did leave behind the elimination of J C Penney brands that had sold well for decades. Many of the ones that remain have been cheapened with lower quality materials or construction.

That’s for sure. I have 20 year old Penny’s underwear in better shape than those I bought three years ago.

Have you been checking out my drawer? Yeah, just finishing wearing out some older underwear from 15+ years ago and have discarded worn out ones from newer batches years ago. Some are old enough to still have the sewn in rayon size/care labels instead of the info printed on fabric of the underwear.

Used to buy many of my shirts from Penney, but when the flannel shirts started shrinking 2 sizes in the wash pretty much stopped.

Only continue with the Stafford brand as some of the other brands have gone even cheaper in construction.
