What do we like for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) these days?

My rowing machine uses power generated by the user to recharge the batteries in the performance monitor (LCD control/status screen).

Never needs batteries. I did have to rebuild the rechargeable battery pack after about 14 years when the rechargeable cells stopped holding a charge.

BTW: I bought some Amazon Basics UPS's recently, they're not Pure Sinewave, and although they don't say it, I'm pretty sure that they're made by CyberPower.

I have a CyberPower LE850G on my pellet stove. When we have a power outage it gives me enough time to shut down. This keeps the house from filling up with smoke.

I switched to 1 kWh Ecoflow units so I can get decent run-time for my electronics.

They will last much longer as well.

How does that work? Is the Ecoflow always plugged in to AC power and your electronics plugged in to the Ecoflow?

yes, all newer models switch fast enough from utility to battery to be used as a UPS.

Thanks, Bill. That's tempting.
