Well, they say that Wall Street climbs a wall of worry…and it did today, even though (or because) there’s plenty to worry about. (Now the S+P is only down ~9% since you-know-who took office.)

Either that or there’s inside info the rest of us aren’t privvy to.

In any case, high enough for me. I took the opportunity to cash out the small remainder of my SPY, at least for now. (The actual financial news coming out remains sucky at best).

Based on my action, I’m guessing Drumpf will cancel all tariffs tomorrow. Psyche!

Existing home sales declined 5.9% in March to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.02 million, according to the National Association of Realtors. This marked the steepest monthly decrease since November 2022. Economists polled by Bloomberg had expected sales to reach 4.15 million.

Sales are down by ~28% since pre-pandemic, and down around 37% since 2022. Yikes.
