Should there be a redirect page?

Currently if you use the old URLs for the old forums it returns "File not found." with no indication of where the new forum is located.

Should there be a redirect page or a forum has moved page for the old forum URLs for people that have been or are still waiting for it to come back that didn't go to Reddit will know where to find it?
