Would it be possible to get some SPAM-specific volunteers whose sole responsibility and ability would be to hide SPAM post for total deletion by a proper OWC mod? .
I mean, there are certainly members here who can quickly spot AI and other SPAM, easily.
SPAM posts remain even though they've been reported.
Reporting had been acknowledged, report buttons removed, purveyors struck through, but posts still exist.
Having them removed ASAP, with permanent deletion done only by duly authorized, would make for a nicer browsing experience.
Are there any downsides I haven't thought of?
I'd like to think there are no authoritarian mods, voluntary or otherwise, as there are on many, many other forums.
