Are the ebay applecare packages ok?

This guy has them cheaper than I could find them elsewhere.

Likewise.

I bought my MacPro Applecare on eBay and registered it with no problem.

One other question on info I just came on. What is the difference in these two applecare packages? They both are for the iMac/eMac.

The only potential problem is if you plan to sell the machine and transfer the Applecare to the new owner. Apple requires a copy of the Applecare purchase receipt and might deem a non-authorized dealer to be unacceptable. If you don't sell the machine then you have nothing to worry about--and probably don't have to worry about it even if you do sell. Just something to think about.

I don't like the 94% Feedback Rating of this guy, when there are others with perfect feedback to choose from. Just my 2cents....(td)

I bought my last 2 AppleCare packages from my local AppleStore (at Educational price for an Intel iMac=$119), and from Apple on the phone for my Intel Mac Mini (Educational price=$99), just because it was easy, convenient, and I didn't want any headaches with these two Intel Macs, my 1st two.>Big Grin<

However, I bought ACare for my Dual Core G5 last year from a very trusted eBay seller, bingkot, for $164 delivered ($159 plus shipping). I highly recommend him, and his name is Vincent. If you look him up on eBay, you can email him via eBay messages, and he'll respond to you quickly. He has 100% Positive Feedback.Wink If you mention my name, rexrzer, he'll give you a great deal. I've sent him lots of referrals, and he remembers!:-)

Right now, he's only listing ACare for Mac Pro:

He has all types of AppleCare though...so send him an email and see what he'll do for you. Highly recommended!Smile-D
