I didn't know there was AppleWorks for Windows
#1
Learn something new every day.

I was sorting out a G3 iMac for a friend who needed to progress beyond System 9. He's pleased with the result but wondered where AppleWorks was. I hadn't used AW for years and assumed it was redundant but apparently not. I had a quick look on torrents and d/l something only to find the installer was an exe file. My fault for trying a torrent!

Maybe not, there actually is an Appleworks for Windows. Apple even still updates it:

Interesting. I didn't know they made an Appleworks for Windows. I shouldn't have assumed.

I find it odd that you can't purchase the Windows version new-in-box from Apple though.

The Education store sells it still listed as AppleWorks 6.2.9 Education Mac/Win for $39.
