backup and idisk
#1
I tried to publish a web page today and it said I was out of space on idisk! I looked around and I had 425 backup files. Turns out it keeps them all! At 1.1mb each they add up eventually.

You can delete them except the first complete backup, and as many current ones as you feel comfortable.

With Backup you can use a DVD and/or an external hard drive in addition or in place of iDisk.

You can also allocate your split of .mac mail and iDisk storage in .mac settings. I have my mail to the minimum so I have more storage.

Thanks for the tips ken. I had already adjusted my storage options and now I have deleted my extra backups. Boy did that make a difference. I had purchased extra storage space a long time ago and have continued with it even though apple increased the default amount, so I had lots and never worried about it. I think I'm at over 1gb free now...
