Function keys - opinions?

they are in the process of designing a keyboard for Mac users. Adapting the basic design, adding an extra 8 keys on the left side, and programming the extra keys to do stuff Mac users want.

everyone knows that there is already a sleep key.

just taking votes here, what you would like in a Function key. What you would want preprogrammed.

When I used to do agency freelancing years ago (i.e. where you go to the client's office and use their gear) I got into the habit of using everything standard i.e. no programmed function keys, no plug-ins etc. Because you never knew what gear would be there, but you still had to produce the files.

It stuck. I never use stuff like function keys.
