My tenant/building-mate has been using one of these and claims to have caught like, thousands of mice (talk about a good-natured tenant). She told me it got ruined due to plant watering/dripping, so I ordered two. In the meantime she'd already replaced it.
I saw something move the other night so I fired them up. Caught a mouse within one day.
I've got "traditional" traps all over the place. I can't recommend this thing highly enough.
(btw I find it kind of funny that when you google for this thing the blurb with the link says "uses batteries to kill mice and rats" . . . conjures some odd imagery)
