Just got a new Seagate 300Gb PATA from Fry's.com...

Was opening the box.. and printed under the "flap" on the box;

That must be their new packaging, I've bought a lot of Seagates over the past several years and never saw that.

The one thing that has been very consistent with Seagates packaging that I've experienced has been the smell. There's some sort of perfume scent from every one that I've opened.

Maybe they're trying to compete with cheap USB externals.

I have a great sense of humor. Thats why I always laugh and make a honking or other "humorous" noise when a drive goes south, especially if I've been too lazy to back it up
